About The Role As Regional Sales Director, you will lead, coach and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives selling Workday’s ERP Solutions. You will oversee complex sales cycles, coordinate with internal teams, and position Workday as the cloud partner of choice for alternatives to legacy ERP solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive new business for Workday.
Lead the team through complex sales cycles, orchestrating pre‑sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing, and sales support.
Coach and mentor field‑sales leaders in the assigned territory.
Use strategic selling and market insights to secure new accounts and expand existing ones.
About You Basic Qualifications
2+ years of field sales management experience at a SaaS company focused on new business acquisition.
10+ years as a field sales representative.
Experience selling cloud/SaaS/ERP solutions.
Track record of managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue/quota attainment.
Proven leadership in a team‑selling environment.
Other Qualifications
Deep understanding of the strategic competitive landscape.
Ability to align multiple business units to maximize sales.
Accurate forecasting and business modeling skills.
Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Compensation Base salary ranges: $168,000 – $252,000 USD (primary location: Pleasanton, CA). Additional U.S. locations offer the same range. Eligible for a bonus plan, commission, and stock grants.
