Account Executive I – Advanced Hemostasis and Healing (AHH) – Northern Virginia/DC – Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Surgery Johnson & Johnson MedTech is dedicated to delivering innovative medical and surgical solutions. This role focuses on the AHH line of advanced hemostasis and wound‑closure technologies, engaging surgeons and health‑care professionals worldwide.

Responsibilities

Own the full portfolio of Ethicon surgical devices and solutions, with emphasis on hemostasis, energy sealing, stapling, and wound‑closure platforms.

Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision‑makers, primarily within operating rooms.

Manage a defined sales territory, focusing on assigned physicians and hospital institutions.

Achieve forecasted sales results in assigned accounts/territory.

Set priorities and make business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.

Train clinicians on the proper use of products in the operating‑room environment.

Address customer questions and objections consistently with product indications and sales training methodology.

Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical manner that complies with healthcare regulations.

Conduct sales presentations using current techniques learned in sales‑training courses.

Analyze market data, stay updated on industry trends, and drive business planning.

Build excellent customer relationships with key physicians, hospital staff, and authorized distributors.

Conduct customer education seminars and demonstrate product and procedural knowledge.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

1+ year relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, with proven achievement of sales objectives.

Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated high‑growth sales performance and the ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan.

Strong time‑management and planning skills.

Experience with hospital‑based pharmaceutical or medical device sales (operating‑room sales) and sales to a highly educated/high‑profile customer base.

Experience developing new, innovative markets.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Team‑oriented mindset.

Compensation Base salary: $80,000 – $140,000. Eligible for a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program.
