As we continue our rapid growth, we're looking for an Account Executive who will take ownership of building out our LATAM presence and revenue. Partnering with our Sales team and Channel Partners, you'll craft your own pipeline, and join forces with our adept Sales Engineers to secure deals that range from five to seven figures. Your comfort in leading pivotal deals, handling a diverse portfolio, and laying the groundwork for future teammates is crucial. You possess a keen ability to listen to and engage with engineers—the primary buyers—and to gracefully navigate technical dialogues and decision-making. Your role requires a blend of best sales practices, in-depth sales expertise, and an unyielding passion to close significant deals in record time.
What you’ll do:
Identify and nurture leads, turning them into high-impact opportunities.
Build and strengthen relationships with our buyers, understanding their specific needs and priorities to simplify and expedite the deal process.
Lead deal closure, negotiations and the intricate procurement activities.
Maintain meticulous updates to our CRM with vital customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data to ensure we always have a pulse on our operations and sales approach.
Craft and implement plans that aim to meet our revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Engage with technical stakeholders to uncover opportunities for Port to enhance their engineering initiatives.
Collaborate closely with our sales engineers and executive team, establishing and nurturing connections across all tiers of our major accounts.
Work with the Engineering team to consistently seek and champion the introduction of innovative features, underscoring Port's ever-evolving value proposition.
Partner with the Channel team to deepen existing/new channel relationships and drive deals through them.
Assist with organizing events in strategic areas of LATAM.
Work with leadership to help Port navigate and scale the LATAM market, offering guidance on where to invest appropriate time and resources.
Who you’ll work with:
Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, fellow Account Executives and the dedicated SDR team.
Participate in sales forecasting meetings, partnering with sales leads, VP of Sales, CEO, and CTO; also cross‑functional work with Marketing and Engineering.
Be part of the wider Port family, which thrives on collaboration and continuous innovation.
What You Bring:
5‑8 years of sales experience, especially in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, databases, or business intelligence.
Fluent in Spanish.
Proven experience achieving quotas, with a benchmark of $1M+ ARR annually.
Ability to drive and close business with both Mid‑Market and Enterprise companies.
Experience selling software to the LATAM market, both directly and through channel partners.
Consistent drive in activity, robust pipeline development, and quota accomplishments.
Solution‑oriented sales approach, adept at managing multifaceted sales processes.
Excellent presentation and listening skills, organizational prowess and contact‑management proficiency.
Proactive understanding of technical nuances and confidence steering technical conversations with stakeholders at all tiers.
Fluent in Portuguese is a plus.
