Epic Senior Analyst - Cadence/Referrals Full Time | Staff | UHealth – University of Miami Health System, South Florida's only university-based health system.

Overview The Epic Senior Analyst – Cadence/Referrals oversees and leads the Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. The incumbent supports junior staff in day-to-day operations.

Core Responsibilities

Serves as a primary support contact for application end‑users.

Initiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.

Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.

Performs analysis of IT in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.

Identifies issues and guides work to resolve them.

Supports junior staff in evaluating and resolving service tickets, implementing changes, retrieving data, and executing day‑to‑day operations.

Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.

Works with stakeholders to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs.

Participates in on‑call rotations and attends applicable committees.

Maintains regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.

Reviews status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.

Travels to the job site during go‑lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetings.

Remains knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.

Adheres to University and unit‑level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Epic Cadence Certification.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office).

Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.

Effective communication in both oral and written form.

Leads, motivates, develops, and trains others.
