As a Paint Store Manager, you will monitor operations and profitability, provide support to the store as needed, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will be part of a growing, family‑focused organization and be responsible for people, product, and financial performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and supervise a high‑performing store team. Maintain inventory levels, control losses, and manage expenses. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies (ADA, EEOC, Workers’ Compensation, Wage & Hour, Sexual Harassment, etc.). Prepare and submit accurate paperwork, reports, and merchandising documents. Provide professional and timely customer service, resolving issues efficiently. Develop new accounts, increase sales of current accounts, and support outside sales calls. Manage day‑to‑day operational activities, including opening/closing procedures, merchandising, and material handling (able to lift at least 50 pounds). Requirements
Two or four‑year college degree or equivalent work experience. Prior management experience in a retail or sales environment. Experience with paint and/or coatings products. Strong financial planning and management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum of 2 years retail experience, preferably in the painting industry. Background in inside sales. Ability to work 45‑50 hours per week. Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year depending on experience.
