Job Summary In addition to the responsibilities below, this position assists in implementing best practice models, patient care delivery systems, and practice standards across multiple locations. It supports investigations into patient/family/member concerns, collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal, safe patient care, allocates resources, supervises equipment and supplies, creates a safe environment for patients and employees, and provides clinical supervision and licensing as required. The role collaborates with Nursing Clinical Practice to ensure compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission, and all federal, state, and local requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

Recommend developmental opportunities for others and build collaborative, cross‑functional relationships.

Provide coaching, performance feedback and mentorship to team members.

Develop work plans, coordinate resources, and remove obstacles to meet business priorities and deadlines.

Supervise hospital administrative functions including team meetings, compliance timelines, financial commitments, and utilization & productivity metrics.

Manage care delivery operations 24/7, coordinate direct patient care, and oversee multidisciplinary teams.

Lead improvement projects focused on quality, service, affordability, and operating efficiency.

Ensure safe, high‑quality, standardized care delivery and compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of experience in patient care delivery.

Associate’s degree in a related field and at least two (2) years of experience in business operations or clinical health care, or at least three (3) years of experience in a related field.

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.

Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.

Basic Life Support required at hire.

Additional Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Patient Safety; Nursing Principles; Emergency Preparedness; Evidence‑Based Medicine Principles; Confidentiality; Maintain Files and Records.

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in a related practice area.
