Night - 36 hours/week Schedule:
Week 1: Sun 10:00am-6:00pm, Mon, Thu, Fri 12:30pm-8:30pm Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed 12:00pm-8:30pm, Sat 10:00am-6:00pm The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the implementation of best practice models, patient care delivery systems, and practice standards. ANM collaborates with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The role includes resource allocation, supervising equipment, supplies, and medications, maintaining a safe environment, providing clinical supervision, and performing clinical duties as needed. ANMs may also mentor and coach staff, implement operational and strategic initiatives, and monitor regulatory compliance and quality metrics. Essential Responsibilities Recommend developmental opportunities, provide feedback, mentorship, and training to team members Implement and adapt to organizational changes and best practices Supervise daily activities of the assigned team/unit, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures Develop work plans, coordinate resources, remove performance obstacles, and identify improvement opportunities Supervise administrative functions: team meetings, budget adherence, data collection, compliance, and survey readiness Manage care delivery operations 24/7, ensuring appropriate assignment, utilization, and performance of staff Supervise improvements to operations and technology, execute strategic initiatives, and monitor performance metrics Ensure safe, high-quality, standardized care delivery, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Maintain patient and staff safety, uphold confidentiality, and contribute to process and system improvement Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of patient care delivery experience Associate's degree in Business, Nursing, Health Care, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in business operations, clinical healthcare, or directly related field (OR 3+ years in operations/clinical healthcare) Minimum 1 year of leadership experience Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire Additional Requirements Knowledge of Patient Safety, Nursing Principles, Emergency Preparedness, Evidence-Based Medicine Principles, Confidentiality, and Record-Keeping Recruiter Submission Template: Full Name: Degree & University: Does your candidate have two years of Charge Nurse in L&D?
