Lead business development efforts, including marketing, strategy, prospect identification, proposal development, client presentations, project budgeting, and contracting. Coordinate with clients to promote Black & Veatch, develop market business plans, client engagement strategies, and leverage technical and management resources to enhance market footprint. Oversee engineering managers, develop project performance goals, and ensure implementation. Manage project activities with internal teams and owner's representatives, including budgeting, invoicing, payments, and performance reviews. Mentor and coach team members; recommend training, promotions, and new candidate development. Preferred Qualifications
20+ years of active water/wastewater experience with proven leadership in the industrial sector. Professional Engineering license and a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Strong understanding of budgets and financial metrics. Contract negotiation skills, including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. All applicants must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal/civil background checks, drug screening and motor vehicle records searches. Certifications
