General Manager
Lead the overall operation of our unit at Huddle House. Drive sales, build a high‑performing team, and maintain the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
Develop overall strategy to meet business objectives and sales goals.
Maintain the highest standard of customer service in the unit.
Communicate unit objectives with staff and follow through to completion.
Proactively seek out sales opportunities and establish business relationships through phone calls, physical interactions, and driving when necessary.
Ensure a safe working environment, including maintaining HAACP and Board of Health protocols.
Develop assistant management to effectively manage sales, costs, quality and people basics.
Recruit and retain appropriately skilled staff for restaurant and catering/banquet events.
Positively impact the unit through demonstrated creativity in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
Appropriately schedule staff for forecasted sales.
Audit internal processes and adjust as needed to complete assigned operational goals.
Manage employee relations issues to ensure a harmonious work environment for all staff.
Support District General Manager in effectively communicating issues, concerns, and special needs/projects and day‑to‑day business of the unit.
Fill in wherever necessary to move the line faster, assist in delivering product and serving food to customers.
Make deposits at the bank.
Position Requirements
Strong leadership and hands‑on experience managing a restaurant unit.
Experience driving sales, cost control, quality standards and people management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn, and lift > 35 pounds; regular computer use.
Team lift required for lifts > 25 pounds.
Location & Salary Franklin, NC $18,000.00 – $60,000.00
