Role Overview
The Director, Data & Analytics is principally responsible for supporting project leadership with analytics products and actionable insights that drive strategy and create the conditions for exceptional results. The role will manage analytics and CRM functions for the Huntington Bank Field project and support partnership, suite, and ticket sales through data insights, reporting, campaign optimization, research, lead scoring, pitch narrative creation, and platform development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the subject‑matter expert and lead all data analytics & CRM functions for the new Huntington Bank Field project
Develop strategic plans for lead identification, partnership pitch storytelling and partnership platform development
Manage the CRM Analyst and oversee training sales & service staff in CRM to ensure records are accurate and timely
Create and develop reports and dashboards for data visualizations
Understand data sources that feed into the CRM system and recommend how best to collect, organize, and use this data to maximize revenue and fan engagement
Design, build, and drive campaigns to better engage season ticket members and new fans
Analyze campaign performance and articulate insights for improving engagement
Provide recommendations to sales leadership on lead scoring, prospecting, and retention strategies
Integrate with marketing to execute digital marketing/advertising campaigns
Build flexible and innovative strategic plans to leverage analytics for current and new campaigns
Communicate findings to C‑Level stakeholders with excellent presentation skills
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
Develop strategies for data enrichment to provide deeper insights into fan interests and behaviors
Work cross‑functionally with business groups, IT, and end users to identify, document, and communicate business processes
Lead ad hoc special projects as required
Qualifications
8+ years of operational experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or other enterprise CRM systems
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Sports Management, or Business
Minimum two years of experience in CRM campaign creation, workflow, and execution
Experience managing people, processes, and systems to support revenue teams
Experience with reporting software such as Tableau, Power BI, and statistical tools (Excel, SAS)
Experience collaborating with digital marketing teams on data‑driven campaigns
Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in SQL & query writing, data modeling & database design, and data mining & segmentation
Excellent presentation and communication skills to technical and non‑technical audiences
