We’re searching for a high-energy, visionary General Manager to take the helm of our aerospace composites manufacturing site in Erlanger, Kentucky. If you thrive on building teams, scaling operations, and delivering game-changing results—this is your moment!
What You’ll Own Operational Leadership
Oversee all plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and safety.
Develop and execute operational plans to meet business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Ensure production schedules are met with optimal resource utilization and minimal waste.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Financial Management
Full P&L accountability. Lead the preparation and management of the plant budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures.
Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.
Ensure profitability targets are achieved while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
$40 million revenue generated
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100, FAA regulations, and NADCAP certifications.
Lead quality assurance initiatives to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Oversee audit readiness and coordinate with regulatory agencies and customers.
Safety & Environmental Stewardship
Promote a strong safety culture with zero tolerance for unsafe behaviors.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
Implement programs to reduce workplace incidents and environmental impact.
People Leadership & Development
Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing management team and workforce.
Foster employee engagement, communication, and teamwork across all levels.
Ensure training and development programs are created and utilized to build skills and succession pipelines.
Collaborate with leadership in ensuring positive employee relations and maintaining a union‑free workplace.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary liaison with corporate leadership, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Drive customer satisfaction through responsiveness and quality delivery.
Communicate plant performance, challenges, and opportunities to executive management.
Who You Are
A bold, decisive leader with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
Financially savvy, operationally disciplined, and customer‑obsessed.
Proven track record of managing manufacturing operations with 200+ employees preferred.
Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP) and regulatory compliance.
Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
Ability to manage multi‑site operations and cross‑functional teams.
Strong presentation skills, specifically with customers and/or Board of Director level.
Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships.
Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines.
Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business.
