General Manager – Multi‑Site CNC Gantry Machining (Aerospace & Defense)
We are a premier aerospace and defense manufacturer, trusted for delivering precision, quality, and reliability in mission‑critical programs. Our facilities specialize in large‑format CNC gantry machining of hard metals, including titanium and other superalloys, supporting elite aerospace and defense customers worldwide.
Position Overview The
General Manager
will provide full executive leadership of our Garden Grove and Walnut, CA facilities, overseeing full
P&L responsibility . This individual will bring a mature, professional, and commanding executive presence, with deep knowledge of CNC machining of hard metals and experience leading high‑performance operations in a regulated aerospace/defense environment.
The GM will be accountable for
operational excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and cultural leadership
across both sites, ensuring compliance with
AS9100
and
ISO9001
standards while driving growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall site operations across both facilities with full P&L accountability in annual revenue.
Drive strategic and operational excellence in large CNC gantry machining of titanium, Inconel, stainless steels, and other hard metals.
Ensure compliance with
AS9100
and
ISO9001
standards; lead audits, certifications, and regulatory initiatives.
Represent the company with aerospace and defense customers, suppliers, and stakeholders with a polished, executive presence.
Build, lead, and mentor a strong leadership team; establish accountability and develop a performance‑driven culture.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to deliver on complex customer programs.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital investments, and cost optimization to maximize profitability and growth.
Maintain and expand customer relationships, serving as the executive face of the organization.
Ensure operational metrics and KPIs meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and financial performance targets.
Drive innovation in advanced machining technologies, process improvement, and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a
General Manager, Plant Manager, or Executive Operations leadership
role with full P&L ownership.
Extensive expertise in
CNC machining of hard metals (titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, etc.) , with large‑format gantry machine experience strongly preferred.
Strong financial acumen with a track record of managing P&L.
Executive‑level presence with strong communication and customer‑facing skills.
Proven ability to lead
multi‑site operations
with a culture of precision, professionalism, and accountability.
In‑depth knowledge of
AS9100
and
ISO9001
standards and audit processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
