LHH is assisting our Louisville logistics client in their search for a qualified Chief Financial Officer to add to their growing team. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s financial function, including annual planning; accounting and financial reporting; risk management oversight; internal controls; forecasting and capital budgeting. The mission for the CFO is to apply a pragmatic approach to building and streamlining the finance function, automate business processes, and be a strategic partner and adviser to the CEO. Managing all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, Payroll, GL, & cash flow. Managing cash flow and ensuring that receivables and payables are managed to maximize cash balances. Identifying and implementing monthly financial reports that support the accurate and relevant measurement of the business and targeted goal achievement. Developing financial strategy including risk mitigation plans & opportunity forecasting. Developing and implementing operational performance reports to assist management and directors in business decision making. Compiling budgets and forecasts. Building and maintaining relationships with local finance, audit and insurance companies, ensuring optimal outcomes for the business and supporting company growth. Ensuring that the company is compliant with local, federal and state taxing authorities, while also making sure any non‑compliant activity is corrected. Partnering with the department managers, providing monthly feedback on budget performance and associated corrective planning. Managing a timely year end process, ensuring that all considerations for an unqualified audit are taken and actioned prior to an audit. Managing month end closing and reporting. Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA or CMA preferred Proven experience in financial management System implementation experience; preferably within NetSuite Strong working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, accounting rules and regulations Strong analytical skills, exceptional problem‑solving skills, highly organized, and excellent leadership skills If you are a qualified candidate and interested in confidentially exploring this career opportunity, please contact Angie Moller at angie.moller@lhh.com.
