Executive Search Consultant at LHH - Indy, Louisville & Cincinnati
Affiliate you with a highly respected client in the Indy area, this role focuses on providing CFO‑level consulting and financial leadership. You will partner with client leadership on operational and strategic initiatives, guiding financial policy, budgeting, and performance metrics to drive growth and value.
Responsibilities
Partner with client leadership on operational and strategic issues as they arise, providing recommendations based on financial analysis of projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis.
Oversee long‑term budget planning and cost management, monitoring budget progress and presenting operational metrics and KPIs.
Identify and implement best practices related to the services provided to add value to the client.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and deep understanding of the client’s industry financial and operational aspects.
Effectively manage multiple client engagements, building strong client relationships and becoming a key member of the client management team.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the client’s organizational policies, federal and state regulations, and current accounting standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA license preferred.
Public accounting experience required.
At least 8+ years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
People management experience with the ability to guide, train, coach, motivate, and direct a team to achieve desired outcomes.
General knowledge of accounting software.
