top tier insurance law practice , who are actively looking to hire an
insurance coverage partner
to join their growing group in
Chicago . Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the firm's key shareholders. Represent insurers and reinsurers in complex matters in state and federal court. The group handles an array of matters including commercial general liability, professional liability, and Directors & Officers coverage matters coming from claims involving commercial disputes, construction defects, civil rights, environmental pollution, bodily injury, and bad faith. Assist in the development of junior members of the group. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Active state bar membership and ideally eligibility to practice law in local state. 7+ years of experience as an insurance coverage attorney. A book of business is not required but is beneficial. Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, wellness plans, and a 401k plan. Paid sick leave when applicable by state law. Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
