A well-established statewide law firm is building its Family Law practice in San Jose and is seeking a dedicated attorney to join the team. This is a chance to contribute to a growing office while working in a supportive, professional environment that values quality advocacy and career development. The candidate selected for this role will manage a variety of family law cases from intake through resolution. Candidates must have at least 2 years of direct family law experience to be considered for this opportunity.
What You'll Do:
Represent clients in divorce, custody, child/spousal support, and domestic violence proceedings
Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and provide informed guidance to clients
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and settlement conferences
Negotiate fair and effective resolutions
Maintain organized case files and timely client communication
Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to ensure exceptional service
What We're Looking For:
J.D. and active license with the California Bar
Minimum of 2 years' experience in family law or related litigation
Strong courtroom presence, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to balance multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Client-focused professional who is motivated to grow with the firm
