Beacon Hill has partnered with a non?profit organization in hiring a Benefits Administrator to start immediately! This is a contract?to?hire role in the Loop supporting roughly 600 employees with benefits administration.
Base pay range
$27.00/hr - $36.00/hr Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, COBRA, 401(k), and wellness initiatives Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and provide timely resolution of issues Assist with open enrollment, benefits communications, and compliance filings (e.g., 5500s, ACA reporting) Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure benefits data integrity Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot problems, process enrollments/changes, and ensure quality service Coordinate and process leave of absence requests, including FMLA, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies Support audits, benefit plan renewals, and internal reporting
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR support with a focus on employee benefits Knowledge of federal and state benefit?related laws (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA) Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar) Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field CEBS or other relevant certification a plus
