OR Equipment Technician – Main Operating Room – Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore, MD
Summary Under the supervision of a registered nurse, performs duties related to preparing operating rooms for surgery. The OR Equipment Technician applies principles of growth and development when assessing and interpreting patient information, planning and implementing individualized care based on age‑related needs of adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients and their families.

BLS level CPR Certification required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Epic Performance Manager/NetLearning.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
