Base pay range $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start‑ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door of the store for deliveries.

Perform product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.

Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by greeting customers, offering assistance, resolving issues, and sharing best practices.

Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure that on‑hand quantities are correct for basic departments, the stockroom, and over‑stock locations.

Assist with and coach other team members on the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.

Register all related sales on assigned cash registers and handle scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.

Assist managers or assistant store managers in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, evaluating and developing displays, and completing resets and revisions.

Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products and maintain accurate pricing and signage.

Contribute to bookkeeping activities, including cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments.

Maintain a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, and request repairs as needed.

Assist with separation of food items and stock rotation using FIFO methods.

Assist at the pharmacy out window as requested.

Check bags of team members before leaving the store and ensure compliance with all company policies.

Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

Attend training and complete required PPLs as requested by the manager.

Communications

Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks when store management is absent.

Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Basic Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of store inventory control.

Will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
