Job Summary The BIDMC Nursing Mission is to build on a legacy of nursing excellence by caring with compassion, advancing the art & science of nursing, and advocating for the health of patients, families, and communities. This Clinical Nurse II provides direct nursing care to patients and families in an office-based setting.
Essential Responsibilities
Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments.
Coordinates the care of patients and directs assistive personnel to provide safe, effective, efficient, equitable, and timely patient-centered care.
Works collaboratively with other health professionals to determine healthcare needs of patients and families.
Maintains annual mandatory education requirements including emergency skills and unit-based competencies.
Participates in activities that contribute to professional development and quality improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
Registered RN license required.
Basic Life Support certification.
1–3 years related work experience required.
Basic familiarity with computers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise.
Pay Range $38.00 – $98.19 per hour.
