Capgemini is seeking a Manager (Test Consultant) to lead and mentor testing teams, design and execute test plans, and collaborate with development and program management to ensure high quality deliverables. The role will be based in Chicago, IL and may require occasional travel across the U.S.
Job Description • Design and develop test plans, scenarios, and automation models for system, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Oversee all phases of the testing process under the direction of a Senior Manager.
• Conduct impact and gap analysis, coordinate issue resolution, and mentor lower‑level team members.
• Identify and log software defects in the bug‑tracking system, perform root‑cause analysis, and verify resolution.
• Review and interpret test results relative to acceptance criteria, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Work with program management and development teams to track quality and progress against project scope and delivery dates.
Job Specification
Minimum: Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Math, or related field + 2 years of IT experience.
Alternative: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Math, or related field + 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate IT experience.
One (1) year of IT work experience with at least one of the following skill sets:
Selenium, GitHub, and UAT
Kubernetes, Docker, and Splunk
ALM, Selenium, and Jenkins
Travel: 5% per year for meetings and assignments; telecommuting permitted as needed.

Compensation The base salary range for this role in Chicago is $121,389.00 – $192,460.00 per year, with potential variable compensation, bonuses, or commissions per company policy.
