Location: District Closing Date: 1/2/2026 Pay Information: Range 8 ($8,942.49 $14,566.37) per month based on the 2024

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to manage our Oracle Red Hat Linux and Oracle Cloud Interface servers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration within a higher education environment, with a focus on optimizing performance, enhancing security, and ensuring the reliability of our systems. Desired Qualifications 5+ years of experience in systems administration, particularly with Oracle Red Hat Linux and OCI servers. Proven experience in managing and deploying cloud-based solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Proficiency in Oracle Red Hat Linux server administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning. Experience with OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations. Knowledge of scripting languages like bash. Experience with backup and recovery solutions, performance monitoring tools, and system optimization techniques in Linux Environment. Familiarity with applying patches and updates in environments like PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion Applications. Knowledge of System and User security, DR processes, Azure, SSO Configuration and Automated File Transfer. Experience managing technical projects. Experience working with external contractors and vendors like Oracle.

Foreign Degree
