Physician – Department of Neurology, Epilepsy (Open Rank/Track Faculty) We invite applications for a board-certified epileptologist to join The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Position Overview The Division of Epilepsy seeks a physician who is board-eligible or certified in Neurology and Epilepsy. Expertise is required in acute, chronic, and tertiary care of epilepsy patients, EEG interpretation, electrocorticography, and evaluation for epilepsy surgery, including stereo EEG, intra- and extraoperative functional brain mapping and neurostimulation (VNS/RNS/DBS), both implantable devices and management of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. equivalent degree.

Duties and Responsibilities

Outpatient epilepsy clinics, EEG/ICU reading, and EMU service.

Teach medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees at all levels in clinical neurology and epileptology.

Provide clinical care, and contribute to research as a faculty member.

Requirements

Board-eligible or certified in Neurology and Epilepsy.

M.D. or D.O. equivalent degree.
