Asset Manager (0931) - Power Enterprise - SFPUC (153842) San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the department‑wide systems management of the Power Enterprise’s infrastructure and physical assets. The role supports electrical generation, transmission, and distribution systems, streetlight infrastructure, and the revenue‑generating ability of the Utility.

Role Description The Asset Manager coordinates and analyzes work activities that impact the life‑cycle of electrical and infrastructure assets. Responsibilities include supervising subordinates, managing ticket intake, maintaining documentation in CMMS, GIS, and CST software, coordinating maintenance projects, creating maintenance plans, administering contracts, budgeting, presenting MOUs to executive leadership and the PUC Commission, and performing other related duties.

Essential Duties

Supervise and manage subordinates and provide support at multiple sites.

Manage day‑to‑day intake and response to 811 tickets, 311 requests, dotMaps requests, and public record requests.

Manage intake of as‑built documentation and creation of records in CMMS software.

Manage and input records into GIS software.

Manage and coordinate maintenance projects with internal field crews and external contractors.

Create and coordinate maintenance plans for assets with the maintenance planning team.

Administer and manage contracts as needed.

Create, track, and manage budgets related to maintenance and asset rehabilitation and replacement.

Create and present MOUs to executive leadership and the PUC Commission.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education : Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience : Five (5) years of experience as an electrical maintenance or construction planner, estimator and/or scheduler or equivalent in performing activities related to facilities maintenance and/or electrical infrastructure construction and maintenance. Must include three (3) years supervising professionals.

License : Current valid Driver’s License.

Substitution : Additional experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year‑for‑year basis up to two (2) years.
