plaintiff-side employment law firm , is expanding in
Seattle
and seeking a
detail-oriented Attorney
to join its growing team.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an attorney with 3+
years of experience
who is passionate about employee advocacy, thrives in litigation, and brings an
entrepreneurial mindset
to their practice.
You will play a key role in litigating
Washington wage and hour matters
before
state and federal courts and arbitrators .
What You’ll Do
Litigate employment matters from inception through resolution, including
wage and hour claims
Take and defend
depositions
Draft and argue
motions
(discovery and dispositive)
Prepare
meet and confer correspondence
regarding discovery disputes
Conduct
arbitrations
and participate in
mediations
Prepare cases for
trial
Perform in-depth
legal research and writing
Manage all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met
What We’re Looking For
JD required
(active WA bar admission required)
3+ years
of relevant litigation experience
Substantial experience handling
complex employment litigation
Strong expertise in
wage and hour law
Proven experience across all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial
Excellent
written and oral advocacy skills
Ability to work
independently and collaboratively
