The AVP, Credit Analytics and Reporting – Regulatory Response will develop and execute analysis and reporting of our credit performance in response to regulatory requests and requirements. The analyst will acquire a strong understanding of credit management concepts and skills in one or multiple data visualization tools. This role will engage with multiple functions including regulatory reporting, controllership, credit strategies and portfolio management to quantify various credit metrics, creating insights. The analyst will be a subject‑matter expert in using account‑level data elements for reporting, data analytics, performance monitoring and measuring the impact of strategy changes.

Essential Responsibilities

Interpret and deliver regulatory reporting requirements, external requests, and perform corresponding data extraction from multiple data warehouses, including data validation to support critical regulatory and other internal reports.

Support the establishment and ongoing enhancement of credit performance monitoring through collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet internal and external reporting needs.

Conduct analytical reviews and validation of regulatory reports/requests to ensure balances, variances between periods, and trends are reasonable and sufficiently explained. Recognize, investigate, document and explain fluctuations and trends to management.

Utilize current data visualization tools to create portfolio performance insights that can drill down into key portfolio drivers.

Support process governance framework, mitigating risk through process documentation, validations, simplification and automation using available technology or exploring new tools.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics, financial reporting or financial data analysis, or 8 years of experience in retail, business, or private label credit analytics.

2+ years of experience in Credit, Collections, Risk, Finance, or other Data Analytics role.

2+ years of experience with strong SAS, SQL or Python programming language experience.

1+ year of experience with Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics or similar tool.

Desired Characteristics

Strong experience with SAS, SQL or Python programming languages.

Experience dealing with complex and large data sets from multiple sources to support analytical processes.

Proficient experience with Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics or similar tool.

Demonstrated creativity, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.

Ability to draw conclusions and provide insights from analyzing data.

Ability to multitask and perform in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience with account‑level databases such as RDG, CDCI, CLBP2.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams, particularly with credit/risk/finance, with a positive collaborative and team‑management style.

Familiarity with data lake technologies and programming languages (Hadoop, Python, Hive, etc.).

Advanced Excel skills.

Project management skills.

Hyperion experience.

The salary range for this position is

75,000.00 – 130,000.00

USD annually and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be 18 years or older.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process.

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
