Overview
We are partnering with a well-regarded community hospital in Brooklyn that is seeking a Director of Infection Control to lead and strengthen its infection prevention program. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced infection control professional to drive regulatory compliance, patient safety initiatives, and best-in-class infection prevention practices across the organization.
Base pay range $185,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr
Job Function
Oversees outbreak prevention and investigation, staff education, regulatory reporting, and policy development.
Ensures compliance with CDC, Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and state regulations.
Reports directly to the COO and works alongside the VP of Nursing. Has one direct report – a Coordinator.
Runs the quality meeting on a quarterly basis. Will be a big part of an annual Employee Health Services project.
Job Requirements
5+ years of Infection Control experience.
BSN required.
Active NY RN license required.
CIC certification required.
Must have hospital setting experience.
