Salary
150,000–200,000 annually (part-time; approximately 20–25 hours per week)
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a board‑certified MD/DO Neurologist to serve as Medical Director for their Professional Corporation. This is a
fully remote, part‑time , non‑patient‑facing leadership role focused on clinical oversight, compliance, and administrative responsibilities. The Medical Director will provide strategic neurology expertise, ensure adherence to clinical standards, and collaborate with internal teams and external neurology partners. The role offers
full scheduling flexibility
and is expected to average at least 20 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight for all neurology‑related programs, protocols, and operations.
Review, refine, and approve SOPs, workflows, and clinical plans to ensure compliance with current neurology standards.
Oversee and collaborate with the internal RN team to ensure clinical accuracy and excellence.
Conduct chart reviews and oversee documentation and internal compliance processes (non‑patient‑facing).
Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams to maintain clinical integrity across all offerings.
Engage with external neurology‑focused clinic partners to align on best practices and provide subject matter expertise.
Support protocol development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as a clinical expert in neurology, with emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, chronic care, and geriatric populations.
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory, ethical, and quality standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO with board certification in Neurology (required).
Active medical license in any U.S. state (no patient care; no additional licensure required).
Clinical experience in neurology, particularly in Alzheimer’s, dementia, chronic care, and geriatrics.
Prior experience in a Medical Director, administrative, or clinical oversight role preferred.
Strong understanding of neurology clinical workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Excellent organizational, documentation, and compliance skills.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
