North America Health Solutions Chief Medical Officer Do you have a passion for improving health and clinical outcomes for employers and their people? You enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of experts to build meaningful clinical solutions? This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work virtually or from any US Aon office.

As a senior‑level executive, you will lead projects and support overall client relationships, develop and deliver solutions, and engage in thought leadership at a national level. The role focuses on senior‑level health‑care solution development and consulting for the Health Consulting practice. The position can be in any US location and requires travel.

What The Day Will Look Like

Thought Leadership: Develop and articulate consulting viewpoints on existing and emerging health‑care topics, elevating Aon’s thought leadership through speaking engagements and media exposure.

Solution and Partnership Development: Partner with IIS and Innovation resources to bring solutions to completion, develop business rationale for investments.

Client Consulting: Lead clinical health strategy, oversee work performed by others, present findings, and drive client strategies that improve patient quality of life and generate strong clinical and financial outcomes.

Data Analytics: Provide insights and actionable observations from client health data to address key cost and performance drivers; collaborate on predictive modeling and outcomes evaluation.

Business Development: Participate in meetings with clients and prospects, translating subject‑matter expertise into a compelling value proposition and refining our clinical go‑to‑market strategy.

Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with the thought leadership team to share articles, market‑trend observations, and internal webinars.

Talent Development/Leading via Influence: Mentor clinical colleagues, lead by example, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Contributing to Aon’s Global Health Business: Play a key role in multi‑country thought leadership and solution development related to clinical matters of interest to employers.

Delivering Aon United: Model a “one‑firm” approach at all times.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

Fifteen years of industry experience, including management of colleagues and leadership of clinical strategies and solution development for employer needs.

Experience engaging employers at an executive level and establishing trusted advisor relationships.

Demonstrated ability to manage to completion, prioritize tasks, and deliver on deadlines with exceptional performance standards and attention to budget.

Experience developing and building clinically based solutions, partnering internally and externally.

Broad business knowledge and deep health‑care domain expertise.

Proven track record of collaborating successfully across multiple functions and levels.

Experience translating health‑care data into insights and actionable strategies for employers.

Ability to travel 25–50% of time.

Education/Certification

Doctor of Medicine degree.

Current Board Certification in medical area of focus.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: $400,000 – $475,000 annually (U.S. applicants). Salary may be adjusted based on experience, education, and geographic location. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, medical/dental/vision insurance, and paid time off. This role does not accrue vacation; instead it offers paid time off per company policy.
