QSR Chief Financial Officer – Relocation to New Jersey
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance team of a cutting‑edge restaurant group expanding its dynamic operations. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, strengthen operations, and partner closely with ownership and the executive team.
This is an on‑site role located in New Jersey and the company will provide relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with and provide guidance to the audit and accounting teams.
Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
Manage tax preparation and ensure timely and compliant filings.
Prepare, analyze, and distribute company‑wide profit and loss statements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and financial processes.
Resolve workflow challenges and improve cross‑functional collaboration.
Support financial analysis across departments to drive informed decision‑making.
Communicate financial insights and performance to executive leadership and ownership.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Possess a minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
Proven track record of success in a corporate environment.
Profound understanding and application of GAAP.
Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both executive leadership and field team members.
CPA a plus.
