DECKER THERAPY SERVICES, LLC is a private pediatric therapy practice serving children in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida since 2010. Our goal is to provide the highest quality, most effective and family-focused speech/language and occupational therapy services for children.
Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Tampa, FL, with an option for partial remote work. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and feeding disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will also develop and implement personalized therapy plans to assist clients in achieving their communication goals. Collaboration with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes is expected. Accurately documenting patient progress and maintaining compliance with regulatory and ethical standards is also integral to this role.
Qualifications Proficiency in Speech Therapy and knowledge of various techniques and interventions Experience with Speech and related issues such as Dysphagia Strong understanding of Communication Disorders and Language Disorders Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida) Evidence of clinical competencies, as required by ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), preferred Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail
