Responsibility
Under the direction of the School Board of Trustees, performs supervision to all educational and support operations of the school district.
Essential Functions
Supervises and evaluates administrative personnel.
Monitors the district budget and authorizes large expenditures.
Serves as the secretary and authorized agent of the Board of Trustees.
Coordinates Board meeting preparation and agenda development.
Coordinates communication with, and for, the Board of Trustees.
Serves as the district’s liaison to local, county, and state organizations.
Coordinates all master planning and demographics.
Serves as facilities planner, designer, and building project coordinator.
Serves as public spokesperson for the district.
Serves as final administrative appeals officer for students, staff, and parents.
Duties/Responsibilities
Serves as chief negotiator or advisor to negotiation consultant.
Coordinates the development of the district budget with the Business Manager.
Serves as the financial officer to the JPA and as a member of the board.
Coordinates all facility mitigation agreements/fees and state applications for facilities. Page 2 of 2
Serves as the district’s representative and voting member to the Schools Insurance Group – JPA.
Coordinates all Inter and Intra district requests.
Coordinates the hiring of administrative personnel with the Board of Trustees.
