Responsibilities
Responsible for everything that happens during the shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from the crew.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, maintaining a perfect image, ensuring standards, providing great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders, over the phone and in person.
Perform all essential functions and skills, such as accurate math, correct monetary change, verbal, writing and telephone skills, entering orders using keyboard or touchscreen, and navigating the delivery area.
Qualifications & Requirements
Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards; access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.
Experience with delivering pizzas within a designated delivery area, delivering flyers and door hangers.
Physical requirements: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, driving, and handling various tools and equipment.
Proficiency with computers, telephones, calculators, and pizza‑cutting tools.
Work Conditions
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in the cooler to 90 °F and higher in certain areas.
Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces, far and night vision for driving.
