Well now’s your chance – Domino’s Pizza is hiring bosses, specifically general managers.
It’s a tough job that needs a natural leader, with judgment, math, and the ability to multitask.
Job Requirements and Duties
All cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations must be managed during your shift.
Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from the crew.
Responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and standards, excellent customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication skills: comprehend and give correct written instructions; verbally communicate with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Motor coordination: eyes and hands for rapid accurate movements; ability to place, turn, and remove pizza from oven; use rolling cutter and pizza peel; assemble cardboard boxes.
Typing and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Driver competency: valid driver’s license with safe record, insured vehicle, and ability to navigate multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.
Essential Functions / Skills
Accurate arithmetic and change making.
Clear verbal, written, and telephone communication.
Eye‑hand coordination for rapid and accurate movements.
Computer or touchscreen proficiency for order entry.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather when removing trash or delivering food.
In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F to 90 °F and can be higher outdoors.
Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F.
Sensory requirements: talking and hearing on telephone, near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, carrying, pushing, pulling, occasional climbing stairs or ladders.
