About The Team The DoorDash Enterprise Convenience Partnerships team manages the strategic vision, acquisition, and development of the largest convenience partnerships in North America. This team sits within the New Verticals Business Development organization, supporting merchants' broader e‑commerce strategy by helping them acquire, engage, and retain customers. We solve operational challenges at the lowest level of detail; no job is too big or too small.
About The Role The Convenience Partnerships Associate leads daily relationships with merchant partners, steering DoorDash's efforts to adopt and partner with retailers across the sector. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive initiatives that accelerate merchant growth. The role requires flexibility in remote, office, and in‑person travel.
Responsibilities
Engage partners in growth strategy conversations (e.g., adding more stores, increasing same‑store sales, expanding SKU assortment).
Design and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for new, returning, and churned customers.
Analyze insights on consumer behavior, shopping patterns, and business trends to inform growth.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Strategy teams to ensure merchants have the best experience using DoorDash services and to prioritize appropriate features for merchants, Dashers, and customers.
Lead special projects to drive operational efficiency for partners.
Qualifications
3+ years of account management, consulting, banking, or strategic partnerships experience in technology or high‑growth/early‑stage startups.
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience leading weekly calls with key stakeholders, prioritizing merchant needs, and co‑creating solutions.
Experience with analytics and presentation tools to prepare Quarterly Business Reviews.
Proficiency in analytics & visualization tools (Tableau, Sigma, SQL).
Compensation Base salary ranges from $71,440 – $120,000 USD, localized by work location. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunities for sales commission, making total on‑target earnings $89,300 – $150,000 USD.
