Mia
The Opportunity
The $1.2T automotive industry is a pillar of American culture, representing nearly 5% of U.S. GDP and shaping how people live and move every day. At the center of this ecosystem are dealerships—trusted local businesses that help consumers navigate one of the most important purchases they make.
Today, the industry is at an inflection point. Consumers expect the same speed, personalization, and convenience they experience in modern digital-first industries. At the same time, tighter margins and rising costs are driving a need for operational efficiency beyond what traditional software can support. Together, these shifts create a powerful opportunity to reimagine how dealerships deliver seamless experiences and build lasting customer relationships.
Dealers who modernize how they communicate and operate will unlock efficiency, deepen loyalty, and win long-term relationships. It is time to upgrade automotive retail to the 21st century.
About Mia
Mia Labs is an investor‑backed startup on a mission to modernize dealership operations and transform the automotive consumer experience. Our AI agent, Mia, turns every call or inquiry into an opportunity, improving customer satisfaction and dealership performance through automation that feels human. We are trusted by some of the nation's largest dealership groups and are rapidly scaling our team, product offerings, and customer base.
Who You Are
You thrive on creating structure, communicate clearly, and can plug into a new team with almost no hand‑holding. You quickly build the product knowledge and processes needed to get everyone rowing in the same direction.
What You Will Do
Own and deliver Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that clearly align user needs with technical capabilities.
Build and maintain product roadmaps, working closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams to align goals, set priorities, and manage expectations.
Communicate fluidly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders — translating between engineering‑speak and business lingo.
Integrate AI tooling and ML products into workflows to boost team velocity and product capabilities.
Partner with vendors to access APIs and third‑party data sources — contributing to our growing data moat and overall product intelligence.
Collaborate with sales and customer success to shape feature launches and set realistic customer expectations with spec sheets, support docs, and pre‑sales collateral.
Run user studies, pilot programs, go‑to‑market, and gather user feedback to inform roadmap and feature refinement.
Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retros with product ownership and accountability.
Utilize SQL and analytics tools to understand user behavior and product performance. Use data to tell compelling stories and make high‑quality decisions.
Keep your finger on the pulse of the automotive industry and evolving tech to keep Mia ahead of the curve.
