Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for overall quality operations
Lead transitions to updated ISO or equivalent certifications
Oversee manufacturing activities to ensure adherence to processes and KPIs
Deliver quality-related training and skill development programs to production teams
Lead and mentor the QA team (4), fostering continuous improvement and accountability
Analyze quality data to develop and refine inspection and testing methodologies
Direct inspection and audit activities, ensuring supplier quality meets standards
Investigate deviations or nonconformities in production
Oversee quality documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping
Establish and enforce quality policies and control systems throughout the organization
Develop and validate inspection and testing procedures for components and assemblies
Assess mechanical components and assemblies for accuracy and reliability
Review technical documents to ensure fabricated parts meet specified requirements
Recommend initiatives to strengthen product integrity, design, and manufacturing
Qualifications
3+ years of quality experience within industrial manufacturing required
Management experience or the desire to transition into a leadership role required
Comfortable reading technical drawings/parts specifications required
Ability to work onsite required
