Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
Lead execution of the site’s 5-year industrial plan in alignment with divisional strategy. Drive capacity improvements, capital investments, productivity initiatives, and compliance with manufacturing standards. Oversee facilities maintenance and serve as a key member of the plant management team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the site’s long‑term industrial plan, including investments, capacity planning, demand forecasting, and productivity improvements.
Benchmark processes across client sites and implement gap‑closure plans.
Manage site capex planning, budgeting, and spending; ensure equipment meets specifications and safety standards.
Maintain and improve manufacturing engineering systems and ensure compliance for key processes (hardening, welding, assembly, etc.).
Lead Business Process Excellence (BPE) initiatives and track OGS budgets.
Provide a consolidated 5‑year view of plant demand vs. capacity and support divisional capacity and investment requests.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to execute SIOP and MPS for capacity management.
Lead facilities maintenance activities supporting plant operations and industrialization.
Support new programs through process cost data, tooling/investment needs, cycle time definition, SOP readiness, and MS deliverables.
Manage engineering team performance, development, and adherence to processes and standards.
Promote continuous improvement, engagement, and problem‑solving within the engineering team.
Lead NVH activities and ensure ECU software meets customer and GKN requirements.
Support prototype part production for current and future programs.
Qualifications Preferred Experience & Competencies
Experience in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing systems, or plant engineering.
Leadership experience (manager level preferred) and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement skills (CI training beneficial).
Experience with capex planning, SIOP, MPS, NBA (or equivalent), and ISO/TS 16949 standards.
