About the Role We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager who is ready to take their career to the next level. Boasting knowledge of project management best practices, budget establishment, and construction technology, you’ll assume responsibility and communicate effectively with the team, partners, and clients.
In This Role, You Will
Support the project team in maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders.
Manage material procurement and ensure submittals and fabrication timelines align with project schedules.
Collaborate with clients and vendors to develop and maintain procurement and tracking logs for owner‑furnished, contractor‑installed (OFCI) items.
Assist with QA/QC efforts, including tracking punch list completion and managing commissioning items with urgency and attention to detail.
Participate in scope reviews during purchasing to help identify and eliminate gaps or overlaps in work packages.
Review project budgets, bids, and change orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
Support project documentation and reporting, including RFIs, meeting minutes, and issue logs, ensuring information is accurate and distributed promptly.
Promote jobsite safety by monitoring procedures and coordinating with the Superintendent and Safety team when needed.
Education & Experience
4‑year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar construction‑related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the built construction world.
Skills & Knowledge
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced organizational and documentation capabilities.
Working knowledge of the bidding/budgeting process based on contract documents.
Intermediate knowledge of profit components and billing standards.
Experience utilizing Procore for scheduling and overall project management, and Sage for estimating.
Working knowledge of building construction components and systems for conceptual budgets.
Exposure to and general understanding of quantity take‑offs, qualification of subcontractor bids, scheduling, general conditions and any project constraints or coordination issues.
