Overview
VTG is seeking a skilled policy procurement professional to provide procurement and contracting policy support on a range of topics in Bethesda. This will require producing highly technical or specialized products and giving briefings for a wide range of customers.
What will you do?
Functional expertise for Intelligence Community (IC) Procurement policy – supporting the Acquisition, Procurement & Facilities Procurement Office.
Drawing on deep federal and IC contracting policy experience, provide advice, innovation, and guidance for enhancing IC procurement and contracting performance.
Influence development of solutions that impact strategic IC procurement goals and business results.
Recommend and implement new solutions, processes, policies, and standards in support of functions strategy and operations.
Drive solutions for complex problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
Provide measurable input to new solutions, processes, or standards to achieve functional/project objectives.
Have expert knowledge of industry practices, advanced techniques, and solutions within a professional discipline to develop new standards, processes, and solutions.
Do you have what it takes?
Basic Qualifications
TS/SCI with Poly (or equivalent security clearance)
Requires a BA degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 13+ years of prior relevant experience.
Deep experience with procurement policy and contracting.
Detailed knowledge of the range of contract types, contracting vehicles, and authorities.
Experience with Intelligence Community Procurement Activities.
Experience with writing and briefing.
Knowledge of intelligence is a priority topic and supporting intelligence information needs.
Certifications
At least one professional contracting certification such as DAWIA Contracting Level 3, DAWIA Program Management Level 3, CPCM, CFCM, or FAI.
VTG’s estimated pay range is $185,000 – $195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
