Must Haves
UT Pharmacy license (or the ability to obtain before starting)
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred
How you’ll contribute
Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organisational objectives.
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organisation.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, and ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current UT pharmacy license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
Additional requirements include:
