In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions, ensuring they receive the best care possible. As a Locum Doctor, you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiology services and contribute to the overall well‑being of our patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular diseases
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
Experience in cardiology or relevant medical specialty
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to patient‑centered care
Knowledge of current cardiology practices and technologies
Schedule: 24‑hour call shifts
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Tests: Echocardiograms, stress tests/ETTs, EKGs/ECGs, nuclear cardiology, etc.
EMR: Epic
Must be board‑certified
Paid travel & expenses
