Office Assistant Position
We are looking for a dedicated office assistant to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This is a long-term contract position offering a mix of onsite and remote work. The role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with client-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with client support by managing inquiries and providing attentive customer service.
- Distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Organize and scan documents into tax software while maintaining accurate records.
- Answer inbound calls and direct them to appropriate staff or departments.
- Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing a clean workspace.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Maintain a high standard of conduct and adhere to business casual dress code during client interactions.
- Support efforts to standardize document filing processes for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to take on additional responsibilities as workload increases.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in client support or a customer service role is required.
- Proficiency in mail distribution and document organization.
- Ability to scan and input documents accurately into tax-related software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with receptionist duties and answering inbound calls.
- Ability to work both onsite and remotely as needed.
