Work Setting: Outpatient clinical services focused on children, adolescents, and families
Overview An established children's mental health organization is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services to a culturally diverse pediatric and young adult population. The psychologist will use evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns, collaborating with clinicians and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical psychological services using evidence-based practices (individual, family, and group therapy).
Conduct psychodiagnostic assessments, including psychological testing and interpretation.
Create comprehensive treatment plans and deliver interventions supporting children, adolescents, and families.
Participate in clinical supervision and case consultation, contributing to best practices and treatment quality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including school staff, physicians, and external providers.
Provide clinical documentation in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
Support clinical training and supervision of trainees, interns, or fellows as applicable.
Maintain ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practice.
Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program.
Current, active state licensure as a Psychologist (or eligibility for licensure) in the relevant jurisdiction.
Completion of an APA‑accredited internship or equivalent clinical training.
Demonstrated experience providing psychological assessment and evidence‑based psychotherapy services.
Strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Effective communication skills with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, MATCH, TF‑CBT, PCIT).
Experience in child and adolescent mental health settings.
Experience or interest in training/supervision of clinicians and trainees.
Familiarity with clinical outcome measurement and program evaluation.
