Duties & Responsibilities: Interaction with external vendors (both appraisal management companies and individual appraisers) to place appraisal orders, or revisions of appraisal reports, including negotiating appropriate fees and turn times for these services Analysis of accounts payable with vendors, reporting on Key Performance Indicators and other metrics, tracking orders to ensure timely completion of services and follow up with vendors as needed Responsibilities also include examination/review of less complex residential appraisal reports; thorough examination and detailed data checking of all types of appraisal reports/forms, addendums and attachments associated with the appraisal report as well as verifying the appraisers estimated values using online data sources Determines valuation method by selecting approach and techniques for valuing property, i.e., cost, direct sales comparison, and income approach, identifying property characteristics and attributes Prepares valuation analysis after reviewing all data and documents findings regarding the appraisers estimated value(s)

Qualifications: Experience working in lender or valuation environment preferred Encompass experience preferred Previous residential appraisal experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers Ability to effectively present information Requires knowledge of financial real estate terms and principles Understanding or ability to learn of approaches to value of real estate assets/going concern Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents Ability to solve problems involving several options in a situation Requires analytical and quantitative skills Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

Education: Bachelors degree preferred

Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 an hour, depending on experience
