Position Summary The

Commercial Financial Analyst

will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, supporting commercial operations, and providing data-driven recommendations to management. This role bridges finance and sales, ensuring that pricing strategies, customer contracts, and market opportunities align with the companys financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to sales, margins, and profitability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities. Support forecasting and budgeting processes for commercial operations. Pricing & Profitability Conduct margin analysis by product line, customer, and region. Partner with sales and operations teams to evaluate pricing strategies and contract terms. Provide recommendations to optimize profitability and competitiveness. Business Partnering Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to align financial goals with business strategies. Support negotiations with customers by providing financial models and scenario analyses. Deliver insights to senior management on market trends and customer performance. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analysis processes. Implement tools and dashboards to improve visibility into commercial performance. Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or Masters preferred). 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or commercial finance. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, margin analysis, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and/or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
