Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams to support financial analysis and business decision-making. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. Oversee consolidation activities for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Support external audits by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries. Leverage ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) to ensure data integrity and optimize system-driven processes. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and performance support.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in month-end close and financial reporting; prior management or supervisory experience a plus. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control best practices. Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
