The Accounting Manager will oversee the full month-end close process, ensure the accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements, and assist with consolidations. This role requires strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with modern ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of collaborating effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
  • Partner with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams to support financial analysis and business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Oversee consolidation activities for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Leverage ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) to ensure data integrity and optimize system-driven processes.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and performance support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in month-end close and financial reporting; prior management or supervisory experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control best practices.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
