Garrison Financial Group
Paraplanner / eMoney Expert (Littleton)
Garrison Financial Group, Littleton, Colorado, United States, 80161
About the Role
Were looking for someone who knows how to make eMoney actually work in real planning engagements. Youll build and maintain financial plans, keep our planning engine clean and organized, support advisors in meetings, and help turn complex client data into useful recommendations and presentations. You dont need to be a lead advisor (but you can become one if you want). You do need to love financial planning, enjoy the details, and be comfortable driving the planning software.
Responsibilities
Build comprehensive financial plans in
eMoney
(cash flow, retirement projections, Monte Carlo, estate modules, education, insurance, tax scenarios). Clean, organize, and maintain client data in eMoney and the client portal. Prepare planning deliverables ahead of client meetings (projections, what-if scenarios, techniques, reports, decision models). Assist advisors in meetings (note-taking, scenario adjustments on the fly, plan reviews). Support ongoing planning tasks (beneficiary audits, 529 strategies, Roth conversions, portfolio analysis, cash-flow updates). Maintain consistency in planning templates, assumptions, plan inputs, and reporting. Communicate with custodians or clients to clarify missing financial data when needed. Work with advisors to translate planning results into actionable recommendations.
What You Should Bring
Hands-on experience working with
eMoney Advisor
in a boutique financial planning environment. Understanding of real-world planning elements: retirement income strategies, social security optimization, tax planning basics, portfolio analysis, and asset allocation frameworks. Strong data accuracy and organizational skills. You like things clean and correct. Ability to explain planning outputs clearly to advisors and, at times, to clients. Comfort working in a fast-moving advisory office where planning gets used daily, not admired.
Preferred (Not Required)
CFP or working toward a planning designation ( CFP candidate preferred , even if early in the process). Experience with
eMoney, Holistiplan, Copilot . Previous paraplanning or associate planner experience.
What Success Looks Like
Our advisors walk into meetings confident that planning work is accurate, clean, and ready. Clients see options and decisionsnot noise and spreadsheets. eMoney becomes a reliable, consistent planning engine customized to our firm, instead of an expensive calculator.
Compensation & Growth
Competitive salary based on experience + firm benefits. Support for CFP coursework and professional development. Clear growth path into Associate Advisor or Lead Advisor for those who want it.
