We are working with the CFO of a stable, well-known regional bank based out Bergen County, NJ. They are looking for a dynamic Controller to join the team and lead the financial operations. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits!
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Interact with Executive management along with business lines and department heads in communicating, informing, and advising on financial reporting matters. Leads a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations within the accounting department. Own the preparation, monitoring of the ongoing performance (i.e. comparison and analysis of actual financial results vs. operating plan) of the Annual Budget (Operating Plan).
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting Controllership experience within Banking industry OR banking clients within Public Accounting Corporate Accounting and FP&A experience Exposure to Call Reporting
COMPENSATION: $175,000 - $225,000 + Bonus
